What’s Good about Sunscreen for Your Skin

TIMESINDONESIA, JAKARTA – Some research shown that you need to wear sunscreen on your skin the whole day in the year even if it’s was winter. Snow reflects up to 80 UV Rays though we couldn’t see the sunshine during the time.

Chemists invented the first commercial sunscreen in 1936, and it has been improved upon ever since. Modern sunscreens are water resistant, and are included in many cosmetics and beauty products, such as primers, foundations, serums, and creams.

People become aware of it uses and choose it for their best. They prefer some products with Sunscreen protection to protect their skin from getting some health issues.   Here are the  top five reasons why applying sunscreen should be a regular thing to do:

1. UV protection

As the ozone has depleted larger and larger each year which expose more UV Rays, it’s good to protect our skin from the harmful damage it could give. Most sunscreen has been covered with SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of at least 15, but some doctors recommend nothing below 30 for daily uses.

2. Prevent you from skin cancer

In a hotter zona with more sun exposure skin cancer has become a common disease. Some people will take this change to sunbathe and make their skin darker and look more exotic. But sometimes they forget the most important part i. e. to wear sunscreens.

3. Anti aging agent

A thick, leathery look, discoloration, and a breakdown of collagen, which contributes to lines, sagging and wrinkles will be formed during this phase after you being exposed too much from UV rays.

Studies show that those below age 55 who apply sunscreen regularly have 24 percent less chance of developing these signs of aging than those who don’t.

4. No more discolororation

Discoloration or an uneven skintone might appear after you were exposed to the sun. This could happened especially for those who wear hijab or those who love to wear blouse. Applying sunscreen to your skin will help you smooth your skin and maintain peduli even skin tone. (*)
